The selected construction site was previously occupied by a single-storey pool house and a two-storey vertical circulation connecting the two adjacent roads.
The development presented an opportunity to rethink the position of the pool house that was superimposed onto its surrounding landscape, thus creating a unique landmark.
Presenting itself as a frame to the site, the two-storey pool house is embedded in the existing retaining walls. A deep reception stretching across the entire length of the building mediates between the pool area and the expansive landscape.

The building accessible from the upper road at the north of the site, is built on its surrounding levels to set up floors for all bedrooms area. the project is essentially buried in the landscape, and offers a terrace roof, covered with topsoil from the site and planted with native grasses and plants.
With a unique elevated positioning to the pool, the brick facade extends the building’s airy design to the exterior, whil preserving a sense of prifacy in the floor.
